We are followers of Jesus Christ who is the Christ, the Son of the Living God.
We are believers in the inspired, inerrant, and infallible Word of God. We understand in our hearts that God's Word has total authority in all aspects of our lives; we therefore do not stand over God's Word , rather it stands over us with authority as the the source and norm of Christine doctrine and life.We hold that the Bible as a whole and in all of its parts is the Word of God under all circumstances regardless of man's attitude toward it
We know and trust that we, like all of humanity, exist as condemned sinners before a just and Holy God. We trust that in accord with God's promise and command, Jesus Christ has willingly come to earth and lived as 100% true man while at the same time remaining 100% true God. In doing so experiencing temptation like us yet for all time remaining sinless. We trust that Jesus has exchanged His perfect righteousness for our sin and has prepared a place for us in heaven. We come to Him in faith in His finished work for us on His cross. Because this is true, we strive to live our lives in accord with God's will revealed to us through His Word. We also live united as one body trusting in the sufficient work of Jesus for salvation for all who come to Him in faith.
We accept the ancient ecumenical symbols, namely the Apostles', the Nicene, and the Athanasian Creeds; Luther's Small Catechism; and the unaltered Augsburg Confession as the true expression of the Christian faith and life. We reject any affiliations and associations which do not accept the Bible alone as definitive for the life and practice of man and the church. All religious teaching is submitted to the test of 2 John 7-11. We do not endorse one version or revision of the Bible to the exclusion of others. We recommend all translations which are reverent and true translations.
We believe in one true God who exists as three distinct persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. We believe that the local congregation has been chosen by God as the right form of His kingdom on earth as long as it remains subject to God's Word.
